This is a wonderful raw virgin fleece! There are some short cuts and this fleece is in two pieces. The crimp is great! We use a professional Sheerer, and we do not Sheer in a dirty environment. There will be some VM but no bugs! Our sheep are not pasture sheep or roam in dry grasses with sticks!
Polypay fleeces take dye very well. Since this fleece is from a young ewe and mixed with Finn, it is a bit course. In strength, I would put this fiber about 9 out of 10.
