About Southdown Babydoll Sheep
Our Babydoll Southdown Sheep are considered a miniature heritage breed of sheep that originated in England and were imported into the U.S. in the 1800’s. They are 18” to 24” at the shoulder and are highly sought after for their fine fleece, spinners and fiber artists enjoy their fine wool with remarkable spring. They are also valued in vineyards, sustainable agriculture and organic farming.
We are a proud Member of the North American Babydoll Southdown Sheep Association & Registry (NABSSAR) and breed and sell the lambs that are born here on our farm. We have two rams that are registered with NABSSAR and we are currently using them to breed our Ewes but are open to leasing for breeding outside our herd. If you are interested in leasing or inquiring on our future lambs for purchase please send us a message for more information.
